A winter outdoor adventure.
For years, WAO has also been heading for the High Fens in winter. Okay, it is cold or wet. But sheepskins, a big fire, shelters, good food and drinks and nice company make up for a lot. As they say in the North: there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.
Huddled in, we set off. The High Fens at their best. Hopefully white (4 out of the 5 last years we had snow!) and certainly quiet. Lovely to escape the grey of the city. In the evening we heat up heart and body at the campfire. Winter food and an acoustic set of a Belgian musician next to the flames.

After the hike of about 20 km, we arrive at basecamp where the fire is burning and the aperitif is waiting for us.

When booking a Simply Snow weekend, you can expect the following included:
